Summary: A demanda de carne ovina tern crescido bastante nos ultimos anos no Brasil, todavia, em funcao das exigencias do consumidor faz-se necessaria melhor entendimento de suas carcaças. Nesse sentido, foram abatidos 20 ovinos, machos, inteiros, com idade media de sete meses e com peso vivo medio de 25,0 kg, apos confinados, para proceder ao rendimento e avaliacao de suas carcaças. Utilizou-se um delineamento inteiramente casualizado com quatro tratamentos e cinco repetiçoes por tratamento, sendo estes, (milho + soja + feno de tifton 85), (milho + soja + caju + feno de tifton 85), (milho + soja + maracuja + feno de tifton 85) e (MDPS + feno de leucena + feno de tifton 85). Os resultados foram submetidos a analise de variancia pelo teste de Tukey ao nivel de 5% de probabilidade. Os rendimentos de carcaça quente e fria, em percentagem, para os tratamentos foram (P>O,O5) 40,O6a, 41,73a, 41,39a, 40,33a e 38,55a, 41,OOa, 40,02a, 39,07a, respectivamente. Nao se observou diferença (P>0,05) entre 0 rendimento dos orgaos, area de olho de olho de lambo e espessura de gordura de lombo. A conformacao e a classificaçao de gordura variaram de (R, P, 0) e de magra a muito gorda, respectivamente. A coloraçao das carcaças foi classificada como normais. Abastracy - Ovine meat demand has been increased last years in Brazil, so, functioning of consumer exigencies is necessary a better knowlegment of rits carcass. On this way, had been slaughtered 20 ovines, males, wholes, with medium age of 7 months and alive weight af 25,0 kg, after bordering, to proceed storage and evaluation of its carcass. It had been used an entirely randomized block with 4 treatments and 5 repetitions per treatment, being these ones, (corn + soya + tifton hay 85), (corn + soya + cashew fruit + tifton hay 85), (corn + soya + passion fruit + tifton hay 85), (MDPS + leucena hay + Tifton hay 85). Results were subject to variance analysis by Tukey test level 5% of probability. Hot and cold carcass, in percentage to the treatments were (P>0,05) 40,06a, 41,73a, 41,39a, 40,33a e 38,55a, 41,00a, 40,02a, 39,07a, respectively. It had not been observed difference (P>0,05) among organs storage, eye area and fat espessure. Resignation and fat classification of (R, P, O) and thin/fat, respectively. Carcass coloring was classified as normal.
