Mini-curriculum

Daniel Vidal Pérez graduated in Agronomy from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) in 1987. In 1990 he also completed his Master's degree in Soil Science at UFRRJ. He received his Doctorate in Inorganic Analytical Chemistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in 2002. He has been a Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company (Embrapa) since 1990. He is a professor in the PhD course in Sustainable Management Systems at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). He works as a researcher in the research group Game Design, Decision-Making Process and Prospective Scenarios of the Naval War School. He was awarded, in 2017, the Medal of Merit Marechal Cordeiro de Farias, by the Escola Superior de Guerra (ESG), and with the Medal Amigo da Marinha, in 2018, by the Brazilian Navy. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Lecturer Emeritus by ESG.
