Edla Maria Bezerra Lima (MSc), 1994 _ MSc in Engineering and Environmental Geology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and 1986 _ BSc in Geology from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Associate Editor of the journal of the Federal University of Lavras in the area of Mineralogy (1997-2001), articles in specialized journals. Leader of projects and activities for the development of scientific processes and methodologies with academic guidance of undergraduate students in Management and new Materials. From 1982-1984, treasurer of the Brazilian Association of Engineering Geology - ABGE, Rio de Janeiro Branch and treasurer of the XV International Clay Conference - XVICC, Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil (2013). Executive Geologist (1986 to 1994) of the Institute of Road Research - IPR of DNER and technical responsible for the licensing of 31 areas of sand extraction (class II) (1986-1992) in the State of Rio de Janeiro and, professor of Pedology and General Geology, in the period 1993-1994, for the courses of Geography and Biology of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora / MG, Brazil. From 1995 to the present day he is a Researcher B of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa: where from 1995 - 2001, at Embrapa Solos, in the Soil Mineralogy and Morphology Sector. From 2001 to 2007, at Embrapa Headquarters, in the Strategic Management Secretariat - SGE, in the development of the Strategic Information System Software - Side, being from 2005-2007 corporate manager of the system and Ad Hoc consultant of the Excellence Projects program, ABPTI. From 2007 to the present day, at Embrapa Agroindústria de Alimentos - CTAA, Guaratiba, Rio de Janeiro / RJ, Brazil, researcher for the development of biodegradable biocomposites using the reject of the juice agroindustry and leader of the projects "Development of nano-structured biomaterials from mango stone added with clay minerals and poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) - PHB" of Embrapa (2014-2017), developed in partnership with the Mineral Technology Center - CETEM, the Biomaterials laboratory of the Materials Engineering Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro-UFRJ and the Chemistry Institute of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. As of 2019, team member of the project "Development of Nanostructured Polymeric Systems Applied to Active Food Packaging and Coating for Nutraceuticals" of FAPERJ led by IMA-UFRJ and leader of the Embrapa project "Nanostructured Polymeric Systems for Development of Active Food Packaging" and, member of the Intellectual Property Committee - CLPI, being responsible for publication and course in Embrapa's Ecampo focused on Research in Patent Base (WIPO), as well as having two international awards by the journals Polymers Science (2019) and Starch (2020-2021).
